Dr. Alex McMinn is the owner and clinic director of Potomac Family & Sports Chiropractic Center, with over 30 years of experience as a sports chiropractor. He has dedicated his career to helping athletes and individuals alike reach their optimal physical and mental potential through a combination of chiropractic care, specific exercises, and proper nutrition.
Dr. McMinn received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine. He is licensed by the National Board of Examiners and the Virginia Board of Medicine and is also a certified personal trainer. His expertise lies in sports performance, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
He is well-recognized for his work with athletes at all levels. He served as the official Team Chiropractor for the Washington Redskins for two seasons and has treated players across the National Football League (NFL) since 1999. His passion extends to young athletes as well, where he helps them develop and adapt to the demands of high school, college, and club-level competition.
